MGF Studio is a film and photography studio in Stockholm making commercials, brand films, corporate video and campaign stills. Matez Garci directs and produces. Roman Lazunin shoots, cuts and grades. The whole chain (concept, shoot, edit, colour, delivery) happens between the two of us, which is why a film here costs less and lands sooner than the same film routed through an agency and a booked crew.
Why it is quicker and cheaper
The people who quote the job are the people who shoot it. Nothing is marked up on its way through a production company, an agency and a freelance crew, because there is no way through. There is one email and two people on it.
Matez directs and produces, Roman shoots, cuts and grades. Nothing is handed over between the shoot and the edit, so nothing is lost there and nothing waits in a queue behind another client's job.
Campaign photography comes off the same shoot as the film. One crew, one day, two deliverables, which is the single biggest line a video budget in Stockholm can lose.
A two-person crew can shoot in a room the size of a lift, book at short notice and travel across the Nordics and the EU as a unit. Swedish and English.

Because there is nothing between the client and the crew. A conventional job carries an agency, a production company and a booked freelance crew, each adding a margin and a day of coordination. MGF Studio is two people who quote, shoot and deliver the job themselves.
Fast, because the person who shoots is the person who edits. No material is handed over, and no cut waits behind another client's job. Turnaround is agreed per project when you write; a same-week rough cut is normal for a single shoot day.

Pricing is per project, quoted on a day rate, and a quote comes back from the two people who would do the work. Budgets are kept low by shooting film and stills on the same day and by there being no agency margin in the chain. Ask at [email protected].
